主要从事复杂生物样品微量定量及动力学分析、化学异物代谢/毒性筛选以及基于色谱-质谱技术的药物(中药)代谢物组学的基础理论与新方法研究。在Current Drug MetabolismJ Chromatogr A等学术刊物上以第一或通讯作者发表SCI收录论文20余篇,参与出版专著3部、获国家发明专利3项。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年项目(“药酶依赖反应性分子组的级联标记与靶代谢谱分析”,21005027)和教育部重点实验室开放基金各1项;参与完成一类新药临床前药代及毒代动力学研究、广州市科技攻关重大项目、湖南省教育厅优秀青年项目和863计划课题各1项。目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目(“中药注射剂茵栀黄的反应性代谢谱及致敏潜因研究”,81274178)和湖南省普通高校青年骨干教师培养计划各1项。学术作品获湖南师范大学“杨树达奖”学术作品类一等奖、中国科学院上海分院第三届研究生学术讨论会论文二等奖和湖南省优秀硕士论文;“保健食品中违禁药物广谱筛查关键技术”获湖南省科技进步二等奖(2011年,排名第二)。现为美国生物化学与分子生物学学会ASBMB、中国药理学会、中国化学会和中国毒理学会会员;Anal Chem、J Chromatogr A、J Chromatogr B、Anal Chim Acta等7家国际期刊特邀审稿人;曾担任Curr Drug Metab杂志客座编委,获Elsevier颁发的2015年度杰出审稿人奖(Outstanding Reviewer Award)。指导大学生团队荣获“众泰杯”长沙市第十二届大学生科技创新创业大赛三等奖、湖南省“创青春”大学生创业大赛金奖等。

主讲本科生《药理学》、《分析化学实验》和研究生《生物药物分析》、《高等药理学》等课程。 已培养药物分析、分析化学硕士9名,3人获研究生国家奖学金。
